Vegas La Reve

Vegas La Reve (French for “the dream”) is a music and circus art spectacular, performed in a specially constructed circular theater. In the center of the circle, a round swimming pool provides the main focus of the show, with performers appearing from the air above, from the water below, and from among and behind the actual audience. Just walking into the venue and taking in the sheer size of the place is an awe-inspiring experience.

In spite of its large size, the La Reve Wynn show manages to make viewers feel like they’re part of the action. Even the highest seats afford a good view, i.e. close enough to the show’s many happenings to make for a thoroughly engaging experience. The fact that many of the show’s scenes involve performers appearing from within the audience means that no one is too far to feel touched by the beauty of the show.

The La Reve Las Vegas show was created by Franco Dragone especially for the Vegas Wynn and fits in perfectly with the hotel’s upmarket, tasteful charm. Its trademark wire frame globe scene with its beautiful aerial routine has long been an iconic feature of the Vegas Strip, and can be frequently seen gracing huge video screens outside the hotel.

La Reve Vegas is always surprising with a constantly transforming set, including an impressive platform that rises 15 feet out of the water and many exciting suspended features. There are frequent scene, lighting and costume changes, providing non-stop excitement throughout the show. Some acts are performed on the platform suspended above the pool, giving way to aquatic acts, aerial acts and even acts combining all of the above.

There are cutting edge fire effects, rain falling from “the sky” and impressive feats of strength and skill as aerialists, synchronised swimmers, and gymnasts perform some seemingly impossible acrobatics on and above the stage. It’s definitely a show that will impress young and old alike, and is suitable for ages five and above.
